Suggested
Format (Scientific Papers)
1. Title
Page with principal authors address, telephone number, fax number and
e-mail address.
2. Abstract
(150 words maximum)
3.
Introduction
4. Materials
and Methods
5. Results
6.
Discussion (should include comments about clinical relevance and
applicability to
clinical medicine)
7.
Acknowledgements, financial support
8.
References
9. Tables
and Figures
10. Figure legends
The title and
major sections should be centered and capitalized. References should
be
cited by
consecutive numbers in the text, and follow the format used by major
clinical journals
such as the N.
Eng. J. Med. The numbers should appear in
parentheses. In the references,
only the first three authors should
be listed, followed by "et al" if needed to indicate additional
authors.
Feel free to
include other subheadings or alter the format according to the material
presented.
The length of the
manuscript is flexible. However, it should not be substantially
longer than the
presentation itself or contain
material other than that addressed during the presentation. The use of
color in pictures, tables or figures
is acceptable only if critical to the presentation of data. The cost
of producing color items will be
charged to the author.
Manuscripts must be original works, which on publication become the property of the ACCA.
When previously published figures or
tables are used, authors are responsible for obtaining written
permission to do so, and should give
credit in the tables and figures to the journal or book from which
they are derived.
Your completed
manuscript should be e-mailed to the Recorder (note contact information
below),
ideally before the
annual Association meeting, but no later than December 31st of the year
of
presentation.

Membership
in the Association requires submission of a satisfactory manuscript by December 31 of the year of presentation.
